I am a of poetry at heart and as such I love going to the book of Psalms to mediate on the Psalmist’s beautiful words. One morning, with the intention of doing just that, the Lord led me to a chapter in Psalms that began so beautifully that I read on to the next chapter. But by the middle of the following chapter I found that the words became a stark warning about what happens when we don’t examine our own hearts.
